A friend and co-worker of mine drives forty-five minutes into work each day, while my commute is a mere seven minutes, when the traffic light God is shining down on me. I love being in the city, although my house is quite private and countryesque. She and her husband raise horses and have a huge garden and chickens that provide them with fresh eggs. They love living off the land. I was out there a couple of weeks ago and we started talking about television and internet and I asked if she was concerned when they bought their farm that they might not have connections out there. She said she got on her computer at work and went tosatelliteinternetbroadband.comand found there was no problem in having it installed. She and I discuss a lot of things when we are sitting outside at her house, enjoying cocktails and watching the horses frolic and run. While I am a city girl, I have begun to appreciate country living and the peace and calm that comes with it. Fortunately, I can enjoy that life anytime by visiting my friend and her husband.

Sugarland
Posted by Von Battle
I was over at my sister’s house the other day. We are pretty close and spend a lot of time together. Now if you know my sister very well, you know that she is the biggest fan ever of the group Sugarland. I was flipping the channels around on her Directv.com, and saw that there was going to be a concert by Sugarland on the Audience Network. She was not in the room at the time so I decided to surprise her when the concert came on a few days later. I convinced her that we needed to get together at her house with our husbands for a cookout, and that I was going to give her an early birthday present that night. Of course, she agreed to the cookout because she wanted her birthday present. I planned the dinner at the right time to coincide with the start of the concert. Just before we had dessert, I told everyone we would go in her den to eat our dessert and that is where I would give her the present. We all sat down and at the right time, I turned on the television. There was Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush as the concert began. I said “Happy Birthday!” I thought she would keel over and feint. She was so excited. And to think that present didn’t cost me a thing.

Fries
I feel lik mcDonalds right now - I just saw a commercial and now am just in the mood for french fries and some chicken sandwich - they are just soo good. I call my daughter my mcdonalds baby - because when I was pregnant that is what just loved and craved every single day it seems...love those fries!
Laughing
Crazy laughs...ever notice that some people just have the craziest laughs - there is the cackle that I just can't stand though - but I get a kick out of the hearty laughs especially when a a baby does it - little baby with a big hearty laugh like and old manslaught - it is just so funny I think -a big laugh coming from a little person.
