Who Cares about a broken leg?

Written by my friend Dong Wood

I have a friend named Susan who is the nicest person that you’ll ever meet in your entire life. She is always doing nice things for everyone around her, and is so unselfish. She broke her leg two weeks ago when she was ice skating, and the neighbors and I have been trying to think of something wonderful we could get her. We brainstormed all of the things that she could do while lying down: read a book, watch TV, do a craft, knit, etc. We came to the conclusion that the absolute best thing that we could do for Susan would be to get her an endless supply of entertainment by a subscription to a satellite TV fromhttp://www.tvbydirect.com/. She has absolutely loved it, and I’m so glad we had that idea. She says that she is always so on the go that she has missed all of her favorite television shows and movies, and so she has sat on her couch while she has healed and caught up! Leave it to Susan to make being injured into a productive activity!

Making a big deal out of Halloween, all out of fun

Guest post written by Bill Earnhart

There's nothing little about Halloween in our household. I've been going all out and transforming our house into a foreboding creation on our block since we moved into it about 15 years ago and I'm pretty sure if I did anything less, I would get some concerned calls from my neighbors. Where I go all out for the decorating, my wife goes all out for her annual Halloween party. We have it every year the weekend before Halloween because Halloween's on a Monday this year, we're going to make sure that we throw our party on this Saturday night. Trick or treating is happening on actual Halloween, so we didn't have to worry about that as an interference.

I looked online to help find some special decorations for the inside of our house for the party. When I was doing that, I ran across some info on Internet Providers and showed them to my wife. Then we decided to change over our home internet service to one of those providers.

I also found a really great recipe for some DIY mounds bars that we're going to try and make for the party, if they last until the party.

Prepping my daughter for her kindergarten class

Guest post written by Gina Souther

I'm the type of person that always likes to be extra prepared. It's just how I am. I'm not really sure why, but it is. It's not like it's a bad thing, either. But I think that I kind of drive my husband a little crazy with it. He's very of the moment, which means that we are the opposites. But opposites attract.

So I've been coming up with ways to help out my daughter before she makes her big kindergarten debut next week! I was online a few nights ago looking for some tips that I could use for it and while i was doing that I ran across the siteclearWIRELESSINTERNET4g.com. I lookedt hrough ti a little bit and after that I decided to change over my home internet service to it.

I really think that this kindergarten prep is going to pay off in the end. She's already so excited about school that she can barely even get any sleep at night.
