Wow what a history - who would have though a resort had such a growing history!

But did you know fairfield resorts it all started from one ocation in 1966 in Arkansas? And not it is a huge network of travel services, member privleges and resorts not to mention it has been very important to the timeshare growth in the U.S.

The companies developmenta standards are quite high and usually unmatched in the hospitality department. They have helped many a family with their expertise.

It all began in 1966 when Fairfield simply began as a land devolpment company - just selling subdivided lots, custom built homes and whole ownership condos...wow how times have change with that one! And did you know that lots still continue to this day. In 1979 Fairfeild began sellign timeshares that provied an annual resort vacation at a specific sport for familis - they called that FAX - Fairshare Exchange of Fairfeild Resorts, In.s. Owns could visit other Fairfeild resorts to spend an annual vacation week there - fixed week timeshar. In 1991 they forever changed the concept of timeshare but haveing FairShare Plus - point-based excnahces. This is because people need more flexibility when it came to their time off, vacation lengths, when they were going to go and where they were going to go and what size place they were going to stay in!
