I have a friend named Susan who is the nicest person that you’ll ever meet in your entire life. She is always doing nice things for everyone around her, and is so unselfish. She broke her leg two weeks ago when she was ice skating, and the neighbors and I have been trying to think of something wonderful we could get her. We brainstormed all of the things that she could do while lying down: read a book, watch TV, do a craft, knit, etc. We came to the conclusion that the absolute best thing that we could do for Susan would be to get her an endless supply of entertainment by a subscription to a satellite TV fromhttp://www.tvbydirect.com/. She has absolutely loved it, and I’m so glad we had that idea. She says that she is always so on the go that she has missed all of her favorite television shows and movies, and so she has sat on her couch while she has healed and caught up! Leave it to Susan to make being injured into a productive activity! |
